In the first half-hour of the finale, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) confirm Reba's (Reba McEntire) worst nightmare - that she is becoming their own version of Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman), dropping by their new house unannounced. Also, when Barbra Jean has a meltdown in the middle of her weather report, Brock (Christopher Rich) interprets her emotions as a sign that she isn't ready to give up on their marriage. In the second half-hour of the finale, Van accidentally starts a fire at his and Cheyenne's new house, forcing them to temporarily move back in with Reba. Realizing they may not be ready for such a big responsibility, they ask Reba if they can stay with her, but she surprises everyone by turning them down. Barbra Jean seriously considers accepting a job offer from a station in Arkansas, so it's left to Reba to get her to turn down the offer and stay with her family where she belongs.

Reba (Reba McEntire) and Brock (Christopher Rich) are shocked when Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) tells them that she is postponing college to go on tour with her band. Unfortunately, when Reba puts her foot down and tells Kyra that she won't allow her to make this huge mistake, Kyra decides to move out. Meanwhile, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) can't agree on how to decorate their new house.

Reba (Reba McEntire) is thrilled when she finds the perfect first home for Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) to buy, but the good news quickly sours when Cheyenne discovers the home is being sold by her former high school rival, Bridget (guest star Sarah Shahi). Meanwhile, not wanting the public to know they have separated, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) asks Brock (Christopher Rich) to pretend they are still happily married.

Reba (Reba McEntire) discovers that Brock (Christopher Rich) has been secretly living in the garage for several days so he can spend some time apart from Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman), who thinks he is away on a business trip. Brock confides to Reba that he doesn't know how to mend things with his wife, but Reba urges him to be honest and talk with her about their problems. Following Reba's advice, Brock and Barbra Jean have a heart-to-heart talk, but the results are not what Reba was hoping for.

Suspecting that the television station's new intern, Kelly (guest star Kelly Clarkson), was brought in by management to be her successor, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) convinces a reluctant Reba (Reba McEntire) to coax the truth out of Kelly. Meanwhile, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) must break some bad news to Brock (Christopher Rich) -- they aren't naming their baby after him. In the episode's final scene, Brock, Cheyenne and Van perform a spoof of the three "American Idol" judges.

Unbeknownst to Van (Steve Howey), Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) has been secretly taping him and posting the video on YouTube.com for all the world to see and mock. Reba (Reba McEntire) advises Brock (Christopher Rich) to make a grand romantic gesture if he hopes to save his marriage to Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman), but, reversing his vasectomy wasn't exactly what Reba had in mind. When Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) panics a pregnant Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) by remarking that her baby may turn out to be a mini-Kyra (Scarlett Pomers), Reba (Reba McEntire) decides it's about time she told Cheyenne the truth - Cheyenne was the mean sister, not Kyra. To make amends, Cheyenne decides to recreate Kyra's 5th birthday party. Meanwhile, Van (Steve Howey) feels overwhelmed by Cheyenne's baby to-do list.

When Reba (Reba McEntire) and Van (Steve Howey) decide to call it quits on their real estate partnership, but disagree over who should keep their client list, Reba suggests they compete for the list in a race to see who can sell their worst property. Meanwhile, despite Brock's best effort at dissuading her, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) auditions to be the new weather girl at the local television station.

Reba (Reba McEntire) is thrilled when Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) moves back in with her, but is stunned after she catches Kyra drinking. When Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) confess to Reba that they let Kyra have the occasional beer in their house, Reba reluctantly agrees to go along with this new parenting plan, but loses it after Kyra has a boy spend the night. Meanwhile, Van (Steve Howey) discovers Jake (Mitch Holleman) has joined a wheelchair basketball team.

Van (Steve Howey) builds a new home office in the garage so he and Reba (Reba McEntire) can be more productive, but Reba finds herself having a difficult time juggling family and the additional workload. Van reveals to Reba the surprising reason he feels pressure to earn more money now. Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) tells Reba that she and Van will be moving out soon, and Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) decides to move back home to spend more time with her mom. When Houston's premier real estate agent, Steve Norris (guest star Tim Meadows), contacts Reba (Reba McEntire) and Van (Steve Howey) for a meeting, Reba is thrilled at the opportunity, but Van is concerned that he will once again be relegated to acting as Reba's assistant at the new company. Van is stunned when Norris offers him the job - without Reba. Meanwhile, with Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) looking better than ever, Brock (Christopher Rich) decides to try a different fashion style to keep up with his wife. In the sixth-season opener, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) shows off her new sleek figure and stanch dedication to the gym. However, Brock (Christopher Rich) fears Barbara Jean's newfound interest in exercise is really about spending time with her sexy male trainer (guest star Victor Webster), so he convinces Reba (Reba McEntire) to spy on her. After catching Van (Steve Howey) staring at the "new" Barbra Jean, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) fears she is losing her looks.

Season Finale. After collapsing at Van (Steve Howey) and Cheyenne's (JoAnna Garcia) non-wedding, Reba (Reba McEntire) is rushed to the hospital. The family is panicked about her health, but she only wants to focus on helping Van and Cheyenne resolve their relationship troubles. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) tries to help Reba feel better, but only makes Reba's blood pressure continue to climb.

Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) gets overwhelmed planning her second wedding to Van (Steve Howey) when Reba (Reba McEntire) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) won't stop putting their two cents in. Later, Van and Cheyenne have an argument and decide to call off the ceremony, leaving Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean with the opportunity to renew their own vows.

When Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) takes up selling insurance, she wants Reba (Reba McEntire) to be her first client. After Reba's physical shows that she has high blood pressure, she finds out she's at risk to lose her old insurance policy. Meanwhile, Van (Steve Howey) seeks out Brock's (Christopher Rich) advice in coming up with a unique anniversary present for Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia). Mitch Holleman also stars.

Reba (Reba McEntire) is worried when she and Brock (Christopher Rich) must attend an anger management therapy session that was mandated by the court during their divorce. Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) are required to be present as well, and Reba fears things have gone from bad to worse when everyone starts arguing in front of the therapist (guest star Ian Gomez, "Felicity," "Jake in Progress"). Later, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) crashes the session and the five adults end up telling the therapist about the crazy things they have done to each other over the years.

After the family makes fun of Reba's (Reba McEntire) poor eyesight, she secretly gets laser eye surgery, which leaves her temporarily blind. Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) insists on helping Reba post-surgery while the rest of the family is away. Later, thinking she is talking to Cheynne (JoAnna Garcia), Reba badmouths Barbra Jean, only to find out she's been talking to Barbra Jean the whole time. Overwhelmed with guilt for the hurtful things she said, and with Brock's (Christopher Rich) help, Reba finally tells Barbra Jean how thankful she is for their friendship.

In an effort to save Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) from losing their home, Reba (Reba McEntire) and Van (Steve Howey) buy their house and rent it out to them. Barbra Jean doesn't like the idea of Reba being her landlady, so when she sprains her ankle in the house, she decides to file a lawsuit against Reba.

Dr. Jack Morgan (James Denton, "Desperate Housewives") returns to Houston with the intention of resuming his romance with Reba (Reba McEntire). However, following a double date with Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey), Jack reveals to a shocked Reba that he is technically still married. Reaching the startling conclusion that she has unknowingly become the "Barbra Jean" in her relationship, Reba goes to an unlikely source for advice - Brock (Christopher Rich).

When Reba (Reba McEntire) learns that Van (Steve Howey) is in charge of the family budget and has Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) documenting all her purchases in an expense journal, she advises him to treat Cheyenne more as an equal. Unfortunately, Van decides the best solution is to start giving Cheyenne a weekly allowance for her household duties, which obviously doesn't sit well with his wife. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) discovers that Jake (Mitch Holleman) has started a lucrative business selling soda - against school policy - to his classmates.

In the wake of Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) spilling the beans to the IRS that Reba (Reba McEntire) and Brock (Christopher Rich) owe $75,000 in back taxes, an embarrassed Brock decides the only way he can pay off the debt is by selling his house and moving to Las Vegas. When Van (Steve Howey) hears the news, he aims to become Brock's broker and a devastated Barbra Jean tries to change Brock's mind.

After Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) get audited, Brock informs Reba (Reba McEntire) that the IRS is going to audit the last five years of their marriage. Later, Brock makes Reba nervous when she discovers that he has a few secrets he doesn't want the IRS to find out about. Meanwhile, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) makes Van (Steve Howey) take part in her sociology project about a man's perspective on marriage, but she certainly wasn't anticipating all the attention he would receive from the women in her class. Reba (Reba McEntire) doesn't approve of Barbra Jean's (Melissa Peterman) method of disciplining Henry (Jon Paul Defabry). However, when Jake (Mitch Holleman) lies and blames Henry for breaking Reba's lamp, Reba is forced to apologize for criticizing Barbra Jean's parenting skills. Meanwhile, Brock (Christopher Rich) and Van (Steve Howey) are mistaken for a gay couple when they spend their "guy time" at a day spa. JoAnna Garcia also stars.

When Brock (Christopher Rich) decides to camp out at Reba's (Reba McEntire) house while Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) is away in St. Louis, Reba gets fed up and tries to kick him out. However, Brock is diagnosed with kidney stones and doesn't want to be left alone, so Reba ends up caring for him. Meanwhile, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) volunteers at a homeless shelter, but is disappointed when she is assigned the unglamorous task of doing dishes in the kitchen. After observing their constant bickering in the real estate office, Reba (Reba McEntire) and Van's (Steve Howey) boss (guest star Stanley Kamel) insists they see the company's occupational therapist (guest star Richard Kind) to work things out. Meanwhile, Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) consult a sleep doctor (guest star Richard Ruccolo, "Two Guys and a Girl") who suggests they videotape themselves in bed to find out why Brock is waking up exhausted and achy every morning. After a miscommunication sends Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman, who does not appear in the episode) to her brother Bryan's (guest star Bryan Callen) house in Lubbock for Thanksgiving, Bryan mistakenly ends up on Reba's (Reba McEntire) doorstep for the holiday. The family soon realizes they may have traded crazy Barbra Jean for her even crazier brother, who believes that Reba has been sending him love letters signed "Peaches" and that Brock (Christopher Rich) is "the dirtbag who's trying to take my sister to hell with him."

When Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) turns down Brock's (Chris Rich) offer to intern at his dental office, the family learns she no longer wants to become a dentist and plans to devote her life to helping people. Upset by this change of plans, Reba (Reba McEntire), Van (Steve Howey) and Brock visit the senior center where Cheynne has been volunteering and realize she has been "helping" by giving the women makeovers. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean's (Melissa Peterman) attempt to get selected for jury duty backfires after she annoys the judge.

Realizing that his wife, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman, who was pregnant in real life at the time this episode was taped), has taken up eating as a hobby and gained quite a bit of weight as a result, Brock (Christopher Rich) consults Reba (Reba McEntire) on how best to handle the delicate situation. Ultimately, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) is the one who confronts Barbra Jean about her food addiction, suggesting that she and Reba go on a diet with her.

Reba (Reba McEntire) is beyond disappointed when her plans for a fright-filled Halloween fall through because everyone in the family has other plans. Meanwhile, Van's (Steve Howey) green-eyed monster comes out when Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) starts spending an inordinate amount of time with her handsome sponsor, Frank (guest star Andrew Walker). When Reba (Reba McEntire) and Jake (Mitch Holleman) take in a stray dog that survived Hurricane Katrina, Van (Steve Howey) and Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) invite the owners to stay at the house until they can get back on their feet. However, the Harts are in for a big surprise when it turns out there are 18 people in the displaced family. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) heads up the "Save the Dog" campaign and turns her house into a shelter for lost pets, leaving dog-hating Brock (Christopher Rich) more than annoyed.

Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) is frustrated that Van (Steve Howey) won't go to church and no longer believes in God, so she asks Reba (Reba McEntire) to talk some sense into her son-in-law. When Reba and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) fail to show Van the error in his ways, Reba decides to take her dilemma right to the church and its handsome new minister, Reverend Parks (Patrick Fabian), who takes an interest in Reba.

After watching her fiercest competitor make a killing in the real estate market, Reba (Reba McEntire) decides it's time to start investing. However, she can't do it alone with her bad credit, so Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) suggests that Reba and Van (Steve Howey) team up. Later, when Reba finds out that Van went behind her back and purchased a home "as is," without any inspections, she wants out of the partnership. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) is feeling neglected by Brock (Christopher Rich) and finds companionship from an unlikely source - the operator from her car's navigation system. Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) takes it upon herself to find the perfect man for Reba (Reba McEntire) by signing her up at an online dating service, but she later regrets her decision when Reba begins dating a mystery man and doesn't have as much time for the family. As a result, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) realize how much work it takes to care for their daughter without Reba's help, and Barbra Jean and Brock (Christopher Rich), who wants to make sure he's better looking than Reba's new boyfriend, decide to check out their competition. Struggling to remain sober, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) starts taking pills that will make her violently ill if she drinks alcohol. When Reba (Reba McEntire) throws a party for her real estate clients, Van (Steve Howey) and Cheyenne go to great lengths to try and stop Reba from drinking after she accidentally takes one of Cheyenne's pills, thinking it's a vitamin. Meanwhile, ex-smokers Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) lecture Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) and Jake (Mitch Holleman) on the dangers of smoking, but that doesn't stop them from secretly lighting up.

Season Finale. After Reba (Reba McEntire) finds Van (Steve Howey) with an empty bottle of liquor in the previous episode, she takes it upon herself to keep him sober, much to Van's annoyance during baseball season. Meanwhile, Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) and her band are invited to perform at a USO event for soldiers leaving for Iraq.

Against her better judgment, Reba (Reba McEntire) succumbs to Cheyenne's (JoAnna Garcia) desperate plea and hires an unemployed Van (Steve Howey) to be her assistant. Of course, Reba's skepticism is proved wrong when Van effortlessly sells the house she has been trying to sell for weeks, throwing their boss-assistant relationship out of whack. In an attempt to spend more time with his son, Brock (Christopher Rich) volunteers to be a football coach and encourages a far-from-athletic Jake (Mitch Holleman) to try out for the team. Concerned that Jake is going to injure himself, Reba (Reba McEntire), Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) convince Van (Steve Howey) to come out of retirement to train Jake for the tryouts. Reba (McEntire) can barely contain her excitement after hearing that the city's hottest real estate agent, Dolly Majors (Parton), wants to interview her for a potential job. However, Reba's glee soon turns to full-blown panic when Dolly unexpectedly shows up at Reba's house for a surprise interview. However, Van's luck and spirits takes a turn for the better when the team awards him with a huge settlement, which quickly burns a hole in his pocket. Of course, Reba finds herself in quite the predicament when the agent thinks Reba's innocent dinner invitation means something more and the entire family expects her to keep up the charade for Van's sake.

Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) convinces an unenthusiastic Reba (Reba McEntire) to go clubbing with her, so no one is more surprised than Reba when it turns out that they actually have fun together and meet lots of men. Reba (Reba McEntire) thinks it's funny that Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) believes her house is haunted by a previous owner who died there, however, the joke quickly wears thin when Barbara Jean moves in with Reba. After a "ghost-rdding" ceremony, Barbara Jean admits that she believes the ghost is after her because she stole Brock (Christopher Rich) from Reba. When Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) asks Brock (Christopher Rich) if he ever smoked marijuana, he is caught off guard and claims he never did. Suspicious of Kyra's (Scarlett Pomers) secretiveness, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) convinces Reba (Reba McEntire) to hack into her e-mail, where they learn that she's planning to attend an unsupervised party and possibly "go to the next level" with a boy. Reba, Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean stakeout the party in an attempt to prevent Kyra from repeating Cheyenne's (JoAnna Garcia) mistakes. Steve Howey and Mitch Holleman also star.

Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) decides to one-up Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) in the competition for their father's (Christopher Rich) affection by announcing that she will pursue a career in "dentisting." As if that weren't enough stress, a cash-strapped Reba must find a way to come up with extra funds so that over-achieving Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) can travel to England over the summer and under-achieving Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) can repeat classes in summer school.

After a near-death experience, Reba (Reba McEntire) decides it's time to put her personal matters in order and draw up a will. However, Reba goes off the deep end when she accidentally discovers that Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) have asked Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) to be Elizabeth's guardians in the event that something happens to them.

At Jake's (Mitch Holleman) school auction, Reba's (Reba McEntire), good intentions turn sour when Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) places the highest bid and wins Reba as her personal assistant for the day. Meanwhile, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) is overcome with jealousy when Van's (Steve Howey) private football lessons are the hit of the auction with women lined up to place their bids.

When Reba (Reba McEntire), Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia), Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) enroll in a self-defense class, a mock scenario quickly escalates into hand-to-hand combat when Reba pairs off against Barbra Jean. Back at the home front, Brock (Christopher Rich) and Van (Steve Howey) decide to install an alarm system to protect the family, but make the mistake of allowing Jake (Mitch Holleman) to create the "secret" password.

When Van (Steve Howey) and Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) reconcile with Van's parents (guest stars Mark Tymchyshyn and Robin Riker), Reba (Reba McEntire) feels threatened by the extravagant gifts they shower on baby Elizabeth and the situation soon escalates into a competition over who are the better grandparents. Meanwhile, Cheyenne has difficulty adjusting to life now that Van has returned to the football team and has little time to spend with her.

Brock's (Christopher Rich) mother comes to visit and drops the bomb that Brock confided to her that he may have made a huge mistake by leaving Reba (Reba McEntire) to marry Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman). Meanwhile, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) convinces Van (Steve Howey) that it might be time to forgive and forget with his parents.

Reba (Reba McEntire) doesn't like it one bit when she is pressured to take sides as the key witness in a silly legal battle between two bullheaded and immature dentists, her boss Eugene (guest star Dan Castellaneta, the voice of Homer Simpson in The Simpsons) and Brock (Christopher Rich). Meanwhile, the gloves come off when Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) argue over which one of them is a bigger liar and cheat.

Reba (Reba McEntire) is so freaked out about spending Valentine's Day with Brian (guest star Mark Thompson) that she pretends to be sick to get out of the date, but her plan backfires when he shows up with chicken soup and tells her he loves her. Meanwhile, in a battle of male egos, Brock (Christopher Rich) and Van (Steve Howey) compete to see who can be the most romantic with their wives.

Attending an out-of-town funeral for Reba's (Reba McEntire) college boyfriend, Reba and Brock (Christopher Rich) take a walk down memory lane but are overwhelmed by feelings of guilt over the fact that Reba broke up with her boyfriend to run away with Brock. Back at home, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) worries about Reba and Brock being alone together; and Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) get power hungry when they're left in charge of Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) and Jake (Mitch Holleman).

Reba (Reba McEntire) suggests that an exhausted Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) treat herself to a spa make-over, but can't believe her eyes when Barbra Jean transforms herself into a redheaded Reba look-alike. To make matters worse, Reba begins to feel Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) pulling away from her while growing closer to her stepmom Barbra Jean. Meanwhile, when Van (Steve Howey) makes the mistake of asking Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) to join him on his football diet, she accuses him of not being attracted to her since she had the baby.

A sentimental Brock (Christopher Rich) is so upset to find out that a strapped-for-cash Reba (Reba McEntire) is selling her engagement ring on Ebay that he enters the bidding in an attempt to get the ring back. However, keeping the ring "in the family" takes a bizarre turn when Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) assumes the ring is for her. Meanwhile, Van (Steve Howey) decides it¿s time to buy Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) a ring of her own, but is embarrassed when he is forced to choose between a cubic zirconia or a tiny diamond.

Brock (Christopher Rich) finds himself stuck between two irate women, Reba (Reba McEntire) and a baby-crazed Barbara Jean (Melissa Peterman), after he reveals that he had a secret vasectomy two years ago while he and Reba were trying to save their marriage. Meanwhile, following a pregnancy scare, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) move out of the house in protest after a furious Reba lays down some new ground rules.

Reba (Reba McEntire) suggests that the family create a time capsule and videotape private messages for Cheyenne's (JoAnna Garcia) baby, Elizabeth. Unfortunately, privacy is thrown out the window and feelings are hurt when curiosity gets the best of everyone and they foolishly decide to watch the tape.

Reba (Reba McEntire) is disappointed to learn she'll be spending Christmas Eve alone, but while paying a visit to the local homeless shelter she meets a special person (guest star Victor Raider-Wexler) who teaches her the true meaning of the holiday season. Meanwhile, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van's (Steve Howey) plan to start a new holiday tradition backfires; and Reba and Brock (Christopher Rich) argue over who will be the one to give Jake (Mitch Holleman) his first bike for Christmas.

Reba (Reba McEntire) begins to feel more comfortable in her relationship with Brian (guest star Mark Thompson) so she bravely invites him home to meet her family. Meanwhile, Brock (Christopher Rich) and the kids are less than enthusiastic after they learn they have to attend Barbra Jean's (Melissa Peterman) family reunion in Fisheye Bottom. At the reunion, Brock runs scared of Barbra Jean's gun-toting father, Big Daddy (guest star Dion Anderson), and Barbra Jean finds herself the butt of the joke when it comes to her older sister (guest star Rachel York) and brother-in-law (guest star Colby Donaldson).

In hopes of resuscitating her non-existent love life, Reba (Reba McEntire) hits the bar scene with her friend Lori Ann (guest star Park Overall) but is mortified when they run into Brock (Christopher Rich), Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman), Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) on a double date. Cheyenne finally convinces a reluctant Reba to try speed dating, and everyone is surprised when she actually makes a love connection.

When Reba (Reba McEntire) goes to work full-time for Brock's (Christopher Rich) rival (guest star Dan Castellaneta), Jake (Mitch Holleman) starts referring to Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) as "Mommy." Meanwhile, Van (Steve Howey) gets a new job working as a gardener, and Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) can't understand why he'd rather spend time with his fellow "lawn jockeys" than the in-crowd.

Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) is less than thrilled when Reba (Reba McEntire) takes a romantic interest in her boyfriend's (guest star Andrew James Allen) father (guest star Ben Reed). Their dating dilemma grows even more complicated when Kyra breaks up with her boyfriend.

Reba loves to make fun of Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) but vows to suck it up for Kyra's (Scarlett Pomers) sake; however her plan backfires during Jakes birthday party when Barbra Jean starts thowing out a few insults of her own. Meanwhile, Brock (Christopher Rich) shows up to the party fresh from his first Botox treatment.

Reba (Reba McEntire) sets aside her pride and accepts a job reporting to Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) in Brock's (Christopher Rich) dental office. As if things couldn't get any worse, she also finds herself counseling Brock after Barbra Jean complains to Reba that Brock is neglecting her. Meanwhile, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) goes back to college and Van (Steve Howey) is left to play Mr. Mom at home with the baby.

With finances tight, Reba (Reba McEntire) sets out to find a job but quickly learns that her many years of experience as a mother don't transfer over into the job field. When Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) happily announce that they've applied for food stamps, a very frustrated Reba swallows her pride and takes Brock (Christopher Rich) up on his offer to give her a job in his dental office.

With Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia), Van (Steve Howey) and the baby living in student housing, things are finally back to normal and Reba (Reba McEntire) plans to focus more attention on Kyra (Scarlett Pommers), who has become distant. However, her plans suddenly fall short when Van injures himself, suspending his scholarship and losing his off-campus housing, forcing the Montgomery family back into Reba's home.

Reba (Reba McEntire) is shocked at the lifestyle her kids are living when they stay with Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman), but when she confronts them she accidentally learns the reason that Brock left her for Barbra Jean. Meanwhile, on their first night out together since becoming parents, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and Van (Steve Howey) admit to each other that their baby is a nightmare.

Cheyenne (JoAnna) is so determined to attend the high school graduation ceremony and receive her diploma in person that she refuses to tell anyone when she goes into labor just before the ceremony. After getting Cheyenne to the hospital just in time, Reba (Reba McEntire) bonds with her new granddaughter by singing her a lullaby.

Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) are so exhausted from caring for their new baby that Brock breaks his promise to build a treehouse for Jake (Mitch Holleman), leaving Reba (Reba McEntire) to put on her hard hat and get the job done. When Brock tries to make it up to Jake by spending the night in the treehouse with him, Reba finds herself babysitting for her ex-husband's newborn.

Even though she's nine months pregnant, Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) is convinced she's a shoo-in for Prom Queen, so when she discovers she only won because of Van's (Steve Howey) popularity, she refuses to go. Meanwhile, Reba (Reba McEntire) and Brock (Christopher Rich) overreact when a high school boy asks Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) to be his prom date.

While Brock (Christopher Rich) is off on a camping trip, Reba (Reba McEntire) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) rush Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) to the hospital, where it turns out to be a false alarm for Cheyenne but the real thing for Barbra Jean. Wanting Brock to be present at the birth of his child, Reba takes off for the wilderness to find him.

At Cheyenne's (JoAnna Garcia) baby shower, Brock (Christopher Rich) generously bestows a car on the parents-to-be, but Reba (Reba McEntire) insists that they help pay for the car until she finds herself doing most of the work for Van's (Steve Howey) job as a pizza delivery boy.

When Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) has to finish a high school term paper, Reba (Reba McEntire) agrees to be Van's (Steve Howie) temporary Lamaze partner, but the sight of Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) in the same class results in a surprising altercation involving a rubber baby doll.

When Van (Steve Howey) is named "Player of the Year," Reba (Reba McEntire) tries to convince his parents to mend the breach with their son and attend the awards dinner in his honor, but her efforts backfire when Van's mother (guest star Robin Riker) walks out on her husband and ends up bunking with Reba.

When Barbara Jean (Melissa Peterman) gets a case of pre-wedding jitters and calls off the marriage, Reba (Reba McEntire) has to convince her that marrying Brock (Christopher Rich) is the right thing to do, then finds herself an unwilling member of the wedding party.

Now that the divorce is final, Reba's (Reba McEntire) best friend Lori Ann (guest star Park Overall, Empty Nest) looks up Reba's old college flame (guest star Peter Scolari, Bosom Buddies, Newhart) and arranges a date, which Reba enjoys until she suddenly remembers why she broke up with him in the first place. Scolari also appears in a scene reunited with his Newhart co-star Julia Duffy.

When Brock's (Christopher Rich) father dies unexpectedly during a golf game, Brock decides that the golf course is the only fitting resting place, but he and Reba (Reba McEntire) are arrested while spreading the ashes, a development that forces Brock to finally face his grief over both the loss of his father and his life with Reba. Meanwhile, Cheyene's (JoAnna Garcia) ultrasound reveals that she and Van (Steve Howey) are having a girl.

Facing the reality of her new life as a single woman, Reba (Reba McEntire) returns to teaching with a job as a substitute at Cheyenne's (JoAnna Garcia) high school, but immediately gets fired when she discourages a teen couple who are considering marriage, and her advice is misinterpreted as an endorsement of premarital sex.

Reba's (Reba McEntire) dad (guest star Barry Corbin) and mom (guest star Dorothy Lyman, The Bold and the Beautiful) come to visit and surprise everyone when their initial disapproval of their son-in-law's new girlfriend Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) quickly gives way to enthusiastic acceptance of the new family member.

When Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) runs up exorbitant charges on a credit card Reba (Reba McEntire) still shares with Brock (Christopher Rich), Reba has to get Barbra Jean sprung from "mall jail" and, in the process, Reba learns that Brock is secretly planning a quickie wedding in the Virgin Islands.

Reba's (Reba McEntire) best friend Lori Ann (guest star Park Overall) returns to Houston and is surprised to find Reba and Brock (Christopher Rich) are still on friendly terms despite the divorce, but when Lori Ann finds an old picture of Brock with Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman), Reba suspects that Brock was cheating on her much earlier than she knew.

Reba (Reba McEntire) steps in to tutor Van (Steve Howie) when the pressure of being the football team's star player keeps him from passing a history test, while Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) falls for a tuba player in her school band.

Van (Steve Howey) talks Reba (Reba McEntire) into hosting the football team's traditional pre-game dinner, but when Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) accidentally buys a new brand of potato salad, the team believes that the break from tradition is an omen of certain doom, leaving Reba to save both the team and Cheyenne from disaster.
